I was inspired by Astro Boy to change my life for the better. This may sound strange, but before Astro I wasn't social at all. I would hardly ever talk in public. Not only that, but I was mean. I tried to controll every situation and I was constantly frowning. Astro Boy helped me to open my heart and eventually I started to do something I never would, laugh. I began to talk to people and make friends. I started to go with the flow and smile as often as I could. I signed up for drama and every one was astonished that I was the most inthuseastic on the stage. I am now proud to say, thanks to Astro Boy and his inspiring attitude, I have become a better person. Was any one else inspired by Astro?

Most certainly! I hold a lot of anger for many different reasons, and the thought of Astro Boy has always helped me cope with these feelings.

Astro Boy has seriously been my hero and inspiration since I was 10 years old. Throughout my life I think of him often when I feel weak, depressed, frustrated, scared and also happy (like when I was recently in NYC, because Astro was presented to us as living in 21st Century New York). I've also imagined him through the years as a teen and adult and father. He's my favorite fictional friend!!

Inspired? Yes. In the first semester of school, I was doing HORRIBLE with my grades. I was failing most of my classes.The only classes I passed with flying colors was Gym and reading.(I was obsessed with adventure time at the time.) But, one night after school, I came home to see my dad had bought us the movie channels on Comcast. So, naturally, im watching movies for the rest of the afternoon. It was going on 8:00 after I finished watching 9, and once again, I was flipping through the TV guide on the movie channels to see what else I could watch. Well, I saw Astro boy on there. Then I started thinking "Didn't that movie come out last year? And didn't they have a B&W series in Adult Swim?" So, curious to the thought, I watched the movie. Obviously, I LOVED it. I got on the computer and looked up "Astro Boy" and found MANY different sites,(Including this one! ) And, Ever since Iv'e been watching Astro Boy, I've been passing ALL my classes with flying colors! I also Passed all of my TAKS tests,(Texas assessment of knowledge and skills) and got commended on my reading. Im not sure if it was Astro motivating me, or just pure luck.
