Astro bloopers

I always laugh when I read the chapter "Giant Uran", not only because Astro acts as a bully to his sister, but for the (deliberate?) bloopers regarding Uran's size. At the beginning is not so giant, about 5 meters (20 ft. aprox.) Then she's taller tan Tokyo/Metro City's skyscrapers. Let's say she's about 400 meters (1200 ft. aprox) , then in the baseball stadium she shrinks to about 30 meters (100 ft.), but this can be put in doubt for the tricky perspective of the panel  . then she's back to 4 meters.

Anyone of hou has found some similar Astro-bloopers?

PD: Uran is a bit like Spikey Norman: "Dinsdale!" ;)

This also occured to me a couple of times while reading the original mangas. Since I have very little experience as a graphic artist, I have no idea how difficult it actually must be to keep the characters' proportions somewhat of consistent throughout a story.

Right now, this is the first example I could think of:

I guess the "Drawn too big"-line was written by Tezuka himself, making it seem that he was aware of this problem.
:)

"Giant Uran" is fun to read indeed! I always have a good laugh at her 'unusual' powers.

I haven't noticed any obvious bloopers other than in the 03 series, Astro's fifth finger tends to blink in and out of reality. X3

If Tezuka was alive today, he'd probably would have completely redone Tetsuwan Atom to be consistent with the tools of today or just redrew it all .Most likely, he could have went the route Ishinomori went with the Skull Man and put someone else in the stead to reboot the manga and just was the creative supervisor/ wrote all the notes and guidelines on the series.

It is really sad Tezuka Pro did not try to reboot Astro Boy in any capacity on the graphic novel scene, aside from Pluto because the manga needs a new spin in the vein of Ultimate Spiderman or the Toei Spiderman.
