Have a question about this video

Made in 1989, its apparently a commercial for a company called Nikko Securities with the first half about something for the NES, the second making absolute no sense. There's like this robot thingy which reminds me of that malfunctioning robot from Robocop which walks around and then stares at Astro Boy with some envy. Since I don't know Japanese , hopefully someone here could decipher what this strange ad means since its been bugging me.

Is the robot Astro Boy converted into some Star Wars Walker ,or is it something about the future of robots that is Terminator/Astro like?

The commercial is for a sort of Japanese security system. I don't know it either, but I went and got some help. Any robot in that commercial is there to show how technology is evolving, I think. Like saying "This security system is as good as this.".

Thank you so much. It felt like since it was from a stock company that it was a Skynet of some sort lol.

That robot looks like something from Macross or Orguss really.
