Is the 1980's anime canon to the last few volumes in the manga.

the 80's series in my opinion are good xD but the Latin-american spanic¡sh translation is just awful! xD they've changes ALL THE NAMES!

They're not canon to each other as the 80's manga is more a parody of that anime.
