Denko, the light ray robot!

How about talking about Denko, the light ray robot here?
Any fans? By the way, Denko in the 2003 series use the "Boku wa" ("I am" in japanese) a lot which mainly boys uses.
But, since Denko don't know a thing about the world due the fact she was stolen by Skunk it's possible that she don't quite understand gender identity.
Anyway, I liked how she ended in the 2003, she don't needed to be scrapped away like the previous Denkou characters.
Imagine if she became friends with Uran in the 2003 series? That would be funny to see.

I've actually always wanted to see that happen, especially since Zoran and Denkou have the same dub voice actress.
But yeah, I like Denkou, she's just so cute, and all of her scenes are just a delight. Actually, the episode she shows up in is one of my favourite episodes in the entire series.

Actually I'm pretty sure Denkou is either male or asexual. I usually go more for male. Like you say yourself, don't trust all the translations out there.

Denko act like pretty much like a girl in the 2003 series, despite using the "Boku wa" a lot. And in the 2003 Mangá, Denko was listed as female, but they gave a ending which her body explode, but her electronic brain survives. But it's still a bad idea.
Also, Prettywitchiusaka by the talking about the dub, you're not talking about the voice actress of Uran who is
Miki Maruyama. "Zoran" being an adaptation of the character is voiced by another actress.
Denko and Uran aren't voiced by the same in the original series, I did mention both meeting because I imagine it would be pretty childish so imagine the trouble.
Denko did a small non speaking cameo in "Journey of Tomorrow":

It's a 'he' in my 2003 manga (French edition), and I think his behavior looks more boyish (in an anime kind of way) than girlish. I would never have considered Denkou a girl if not for the Korean subs and people on here who've watched the English version.
Almost forgot, Astro Boy: Omega Factor in English refers to him as male too.

"Denkou" is Japanese for "Light Ray." It's the same character.

"Denkou Action" is a old theme song from a tokusatsu series called "Seiun Kamen Machineman" which was a pretty crazy tokusatsu series, lol
But back in topic, I would like to explore a friendship between Denkou and Uran.
I thought about making the character as female for laughs.
Btw, I'm the only one who tried a fanart of Denkou here?
