So I got the idea of making Uran from Tetsuwan Atom 2003 series for the mugen (customizable fighting game) engine and here is a demonstration of my lineart:
Walking frames:

Running frames:

The idea would be making Uran without built-in weapons like she is in the original, so she would mostly fight with brute strenght and short range attacks.

Her sprite looks cute the way she is looking up like that. :)
Will she have sprites for looking down at small chars or when they are crouching or floored, too?

great job with the animation . . . I just don't "get" fighting games. Too bad it just wasn't a program to animate images. So you had to draw each frame by hand? You did a super job.

I always wish Uran could fly.

I think that the best tribute for Uran would be making her into a fully playable character, so Mugen would be my best bet:
I've made new walking frames:

Now, it's the walk back:

The stand (it may change):

I think it was mentioned somewhere that in the '60s series, Uran had jets like Atom's, but gave them to him because his were damaged, or something. I think it was in one of Jeffbert's threads, but I also think that whichever story it was, the images didn't work anymore. :(

Yes, however that's not relevant with that thread.
I was thinking in a ground pound for Uran and a "Uranium Kick", considering her strenght, it would quite destructive.
I have yet to decide which shadding I'll use in Uran.
She'll have special intros against certain characters like Comet and Meteo.

That was from the 60's - Dunder Bird of Doom - episode 74. There is a thread here, but Jeffbert's images are gone for some reason... :(

It was #83 Strange Bird, Garuda (E:74 Dunder, Bird of Doom) in which Uran had jets attached to her feet. In 41 X Bomb (E: Deadline to Danger) She uses a jet pack to follow her hero brother.

Guys, do not go off-topic, please! The fact that Uran had or not jets is IRRELEVANT with that thread. There was no reason to ignore my ENTIRE POST to go off-topic.
If you want to discuss about the jets of 1963 Uran, then please, make your own thread. This is a post about a project of mine which don't have anything with her 1963 version.
Here is a shadding test made by Muirtower:

Is in initial stages, but looks cute, nevertless.
