HEY!! I just saw old grumpy-dump/brushnose Tawashi having dinner (an "Anniversary dinner") with his wife (who actually looked more like she'd be with Dr. O'Shay

I never saw this ep - got the (American dub) box set for Christmas - so I'm enjoying re-watching the series. I believe this is the only place I ever saw a reference to Tawashi being married! Anybody else seen any other evidence?

Also I noticed that Omar (Princess Abby's guardian) looks an awful lot like Moustachio -- a little "Tezuka Star System" cameo there, maybe? I knew I hadn't seen this one, so I wanted to check it out right away . . . now back to number one - perfect way to spend a snowy day!

Perfect way to spend a snowy day indeed...either that, or just writing (at least for me, anyway).

Yeah, I always find it funny that Tawashi himself has a wife. Not that he isn't a good guy or anything, but it just seems strange in my mind to know he's married. Still, Tawashi is a good guy, so I can assume the Mrs. saw past the stubbornness, and saw who he really is underneath.

Though it does make me wonder if he has any kids. And by extension, if his kids are just as stubborn as he is?

Hahah, yeah... I've already watched all the episodes on Netflix. It's really weird to think of Tawashi being married...

I never knew about his wife.

But, I had the impression of seeing cameos of Tamamura without speaking in 2003 series.

Any photos of that wife anyway?
