Imagine this:
Atom is out of commission and Dr. Ochanomizu can't repair him atm due the lack of resources, because a criminal hijacked the Science Ministry that they're hopeless to bring him back, because all the necessary machines are out of order.
So, Uran end up the last line of hope against the menace.
That would sound like a good story which despite not being advanced and powerful as Atom, Uran had to take the responsability of saving the day?

She would do it by shaming the villian with her unrivalled level of extreme cuteness.

It would be an interesting story. Several times Atom was needing replacement parts, Uran, Cobalt, & in the live action serial, Mama & papa offered themselves as organ donors.

The idea is Uran fighting in Atom's behalf since he cannot be repaired due the lack of resources like machines and materials.

I got the idea of a scenario which the whole city suffer a power outage and Atom is shutted down, but Uran is not affected by the cause of such outage and she is the last line of defense against the villain.

Btw, I thought about a story which Uran offer some of her own parts to repair Atom, but Dr. Ochanomizu tells that despite her being based in Atom it would not be possible.
Because she is smaller than Atom and the parts cannot be placed correctly.
So, it would necessary to have new parts being made for the ocasion.
