Frankly, I find that a horrible idea.
Specially considering the meaning of Atom having a little sister.

Some fans even want to portray Atom as a sort of sexfiend by considering Uran as a girlfriend instead of a little sister with the excuse "they don't share the same creator".

In the series, Uran was created to make Atom feel more like a human and also have the responsability of being a big brother.

So a idea like that feel kinda like a insult against brotherhood.

It doesn't matter if they do not share the same creator, they're still brother and sister and they also show how siblings should understand and respect each other.

Yeah really they shouldn't be boyfriend and girlfirnd that's just wrong, Especially because Uran is a lot younger then Atom

Seeing how they interact as a brother and sister made me realize that I was not a good brother in my childhood...

Both consider each other as siblings and is horrible to see people wanting to make them something else.

Don't say that think positive I have fights and arguements all the time with my older sibling

but we get over them of course I don't take big fit like when I was probably up to 5

I often teased my younger sister too much during childhood that now I regred what I've did.

yeah there some thing I regret saying to my older sibling it seems thats they always want to hug and it hurt when they give me hug so i run so I think they might feel sad if I do that

It was good for Atom having a sister, so people would understand better about how they should treat their younger siblings.

In the 2003 series, Atom ended up regreting scolding Uran dearly and not being patient with her.

He forgot that Dr. Ochanomizu was quite patient with him when he acted stubborn or went to do something without even thinking first.

And he realized how Uran was important to him when she showed her true feelings and her sincere wish of getting along well with him.

It makes quite revolting that kind of relationship of lovers between them.

yeah Atom is a great big brother to Uran

Atom loved Nuka romantically, & she was essentially his twin sister, since she was made from his design. Uran was designed by Ochanomizu, & was nowhere near as sophisticated as Atom. Had they met under different circumstances, they might never have known they were intended to be siblings. They were, as were all but Cobalt, adopted family members. Nuka, though meeting Atom under the circumstances in episode #52, was his sister as much as it was possible for a robot to have a sister. Just food for thought.
