There was any valentine episode in the 1963 series or mangá chapters from the original 1950 mangá?
I wonder how Atom would react about learning about Valentine's day and White Day?

ASTROBOY getting VALENTINE DAY CARD from a girl would be so sweet and be a great story- and also so adorable and cute to the girly-girl max!

White Day is a holiday that’s similar to Valetine’s Day which Asian countries such Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and China celebrate on March 14th. You can find more information about White Day on these sites:

I don’t think the 1960s Astro Boy series or the original Astro Boy manga had a White Day episode/chapter because White Day was first celebrated in Japan in 1978.
I'm not so sure with Valentine's day because Valentine's day was introduce in Japan earlier than White Day:

Valentine's Day in Japan and White Day are quite different than Valentine’s Day in Western Countries.

In the Manga story 'A day to remember' Tezuka talked about a holiday where the Japanese remember departed family by sending lanterns floating on a river. I got the feeling he was describing a real holiday and didn't make it up for the manga, (though he might have changed the details). Anyway that was the story where Atom took the place of a departed person and ended up in a time machine and rescued the boy who had been lost in another time machine that he had built.
So how many time travel stories DID Tezuka write?

That's not coherent with the objective of the thread, sadly.
After all it's different from the concept of Valentine's day and White Day, sorry.
I thought that would be interesting if Atom had learn about the Valentine's Day and as well about the White Day through is friends.
So, I wonder what would his concern about these dates.

I think he was suggesting that maybe that episode might be featuring a Japanese version of Valentine's Day or "White Day" (notice he said "a holiday" - not naming it)
As a moderator, I do not feel his contribution was off topic.

I wonder if you remember what they does in the valentine's day and white day.
Which the girls give chocolate to those which they likes.
And the fact the boys retribute the chocolates which they got by giving marshmallow for the girls.
So, what he said is not what I wanted to know.
That's the concept which I was talking about and too bad that nothing like that was done officially.
