So which types of stories you like?

I really have a liking to stories which gives a emotional value to Atom and Uran, like these which they barelly survive a terrible threat or the loss of dear ones.
Other interesting stories would make then learn about values of life, honestity, kindness and love.
I thought about stories which Atom have to deal with such a sad issue which is the fact he cannot always save everyone.
In the case of my recent story "The Tragic Flower Of Love" he deal with the fact that he cannot save two people who are poisoned by a terrible poison and the flower which have the antidote will wither if said antidote is extracted once.
So, what's your favourite type of story?
