I guess there should be an answer for EACH of the three series. Though I really like the '63 series the best, I won't limit the question to that one since many of the members here haven't seen it first run.

My favorite episode has to be "The Wacky Machine" ("The Mad Machine").
The grimace on Astro's face as he attempts to pull the building apart is priceless!

BTW does anybody know how to make an animated GIF or motion JPEG? I'd love to put one together of the scene where he makes swiss cheese out of the building before pulling it apart.

My favorite episode for the 1963 version of Astro Boy is "Attack from Space" with the alien robot Bimo (Bem). I love the how the Norikans(?) have wings on their heads, so clever to me.

As for the 80s version my favorite episode is the one with Dum Dum, the robot that doesn't have his head, and I also like the episode with the Robot Vikings.


Finally, the 2003 version; I like any episode with Atlas in it, especially his back story. I am also fond of the Microbear episode.

I wish I knew how to make gifs, otherwise I'd be one happy person.

I haven't seen many episodes of the 1960s version and it's been so long since I saw the 2003 version. But my favourite episodes of the 1980s version are "Astro's First Love" and "Lilly on Peligro Island".

As for GIF creation, there are many websites that allow you to upload the frames and assemble them online.

I like finales a lot apparently o.o

Finales tend to be bittersweet. I'm not a fan of the 80's series' finale, though. But I did like the other two.

1960's: That would have to be Brother Jetto, and I bet all of you- eh, or at least, most of you- know the exact reason why.

I'll have to think a little bit about the other two.

2003 : episodes 6,11,12,25,30 (english order) with Skunk!!

And the last episode when Tenma and Astro are together

60s- Mystery of the Metal Men is my favorite I've seen so far.

'03- Either the finale or March of the Micro Bears depending on what kind of mood I'm in- would I rather laugh or cry happiness?
