I think I have a crush on Astroboy... But that can't be right... I am a guy...

I keep thinking about him and "How would this movie/TV show have turned out if Astro had been there"...

And... Um... I think he is cute...

Well you obviously identity with him and try to emulate him, or so you've led us to believe. Does that quality as a guy kind of crush?

I think the term might be fanboy.

Modeling myself after him and "crushing" on him is different. I mean... I can NOT get my mind off him... it just gets worse and worse...

Well if it makes you feel any better, this fan fiction stuff has been an obsession with me for the last few months.

I usually have a one track mind and stay in one mode for a while till something new becomes more fascinating. Right now writing is the thing and I have at least one other story idea that does not involve Astro.

I am told I am an astro fanboy and I apparently have OCD like behaviour patterns, I can obsess about things rather easily.

It could be a slight shotacon obsession. I know there is a member here who doesn't mind viewing cartoon versions of it. The fact that Astro is a mechanical being might also mean you have mechanophilic tendencies. Only you know, really. Either way, I doubt anyone here will judge you.

I've related things to guy characters before. In fact, I absolutely love drawing Link from Zelda. He's my favorite character, and just find him so adorable and funny. I'd love to meet him (like a lot) I don't really think I would consider this a crush though. I just really adore the character, and I'm just a fangirl.
That's just my opinion on it. You know better than me of course. A lot of people get little "cartoon crushes" in their lives, so it's not too odd.
