Here's something I just picked up on eBay, It is a new publication that reprints a select few Astro Boy manga stories in English as well as Japanese. Published in Japan with a release date of 9/14/2013, apparently it was published with the intent to aid Japanese in reading English; thus their bi-lingual nature.
As it is an exact translation of Osamu Tezuka's original, the title is "Mighty Atom" rather than "Astro Boy". It has a nice cross section of stories from Astro Boy's manga history. Any one interested can pick up a copy on eBay as a Japanese dealer is selling it for $24.99 plus $8.00 S & H. Even if you already own the Dark Horse editions, this is still a nice addition to anyone's Astro Boy library!

I remember using things similar to this in my own Japanese class, though in my case we used Shin-Chan and some Doraemon comic strips, and there was another one that I can't remember the title but it was about this professor that looked like the Professor from The Powerpuff Girls and was a klutz.

Overall a great tool.

But this is really cool to have as an addition to a collection!

Do you have a link to the seller?

Have you compared the content to the Dark Horse version? If so, notice any differences?

To JeffBert: No! But if you look at the last picture attached you will notice a difference in the DH version as opposed to "Mighty Atom--Best Selection"! (The text is bi-lingual.)

ouch! my eyes hurt, the focus seem poor on those panels, though the text above them seems crisp.

I've seen a set like this on Tumblr- but for Jungle Emperor Leo, not Mighty Atom. I believe that would be the first time an official English release of any of those stories have been made, correct?

No, all of these stories are included in the DH series, but not collected in this grouping. I.e., they are spread out among different volumes in the DH series.

No I meant Jungle Emperor Leo, not Astro Boy.
