How do you pronounce Ochanomizu?

The two pronunciations that come to my mind are:
O - cha - nom - ah - zoo
and
Ack - a - nom - ah - su
(probably some variant of these is correct.)

The correct pronunciation is: Oh cha no mi soo! The "zu" does not necessarily sound like "zoo"! Of course you may know that translated his name is close to "water for tea" or "tea water"! (Ocha means tea and mizu is water, or is it the other way around. No matter it does translate as "tea water"!)

I strongly suspected that the Z was sounded like an S, just as it is in Tezuka.

If you watch this show called "Astro Boy" I think they say Ochanomizu's name nearly every episode in it.

Ha ha. Only I have the same problem that Jeffbert does, picking things out listening to the sound track. Actually Atom's voice isn't too hard to make out, but Uran's is difficult for me with her higher pitched voice!
