Hey everyone! I'm going on vacation this Sunday to Disney in Florida, and I'll be visiting Japan in Epcot. I was wondering, do you guys think I could find anything Astro Boy related there? I'd love to find at least something. Thanks!

Do you think it would be hard to find?

My understanding is that there is a kiosk with Tezuka items - but that was a couple years ago. Shouldn't be difficult to find, and the people working there should be able to help. Then you can share with us if it's still there, and what you purchased!! Have a wonderful trip!

If it's still there, I would be happy to share what I got. Thank you!

I would try Mitsukoshi, the big shop in the Japan pavilion based on the famous Japanese department store. The first section of the shop has a lot of Japanese pop culture merch, like Pokémon, Ghibli movie merch, Hello Kitty, Ultraman... it changes a lot, of course, but that's where they kept Astro Boy stuffs in 2006 (I was unable to find any Astro merch during my latest visit to Epcot, but even that was a few years ago.) The prices there are pretty high even for Disney souvenirs, though, so be warned.)
I'd go to Mitsukoshi regardless, they have a lot of fantastic Japanese merchandise for sale besides pop culture. I got my kimono and obi there, and they are just so fantastically made. Plus the adorable little lucky cats, and gummy sushi candi, designer chopsticks... To me it's really the highlight of the World Showcase (I'm more of a Future World girl.)
Have fun planning your Disney vacation! That's basically my hobby. Like I always say, a good itinerary beforehand can save you from hours of standing in line even during the busiest season. That's... that's not very catchy, I know. I need to work on that.

I live in South Florida, but I haven't been up to WDW for a few years now. Maybe when my daughters finish with college and we have some extra cash to spend! I really want to get back to Epcot again.

I just visited Mitsukosi, and sadly couldn't find anything. I'm glad I visited anyways. Everything there was fantastic! I'll be posting pictures of my trip soon.
