In the "Eternal Boy" episode there is a scene where Atom can use his eyes as projectors to throw a holographic image of what he has seen and remembers. I don't think that was used in any other episode.

(Todou.com is streaming the 2003 episodes in Japanese with English sub titles. I think this is a Chinese site)

hmm, I hadn't thought about it but you're right. We've never seen him with a built in projector before

Is it..sort of like, him plugging himself connect to a screen, and it comes up what he sees In the past. Like he's an film protecter for awhile. You know on Venus robots.
I actually thought of that on Enternal boy long ago, but never had a chance to say it. ^.^

That was an element used in R-45, both the B&W & 1980s version. I think Tezuka got the idea from watching Karloff & Lugosi in THE INVISIBLE RAY, which the essay portion of MYSTERIOUS UNDERGROUND MEN says he had watched. In the film, L's character exposes a murdered man's eyes to ultraviolet rays (I think) & on the eyes is the image of the murderer, K. So, in R-45, Atom uses a destroyed robot's head as a projector, & Tock, who cannot keep his mouth shut, blurts out the fact that T&T do business with the guy in the image. :astro:

Oh, I almost forgot, Atom's powers had been 7 since the beginning, but those 7 were changed more often than I had thought. He had jets only in his arms in the beginning.
