Does anybody know what the first name of the industrialist Tokagowa in the 2003 series was? It's for a fanfiction story I'm cooking up.

I'm embarrassed to say I cannot remember if he even had a first name given... Though his last name was actually "Tokugawa" despite the English pronunciation.
If you want I can fix that in the thread title.

Please do. I'm not sure where I found the incorrect spelling, I think I saw it online somewhere.

I'm sure the 2003 manga version gave him a full name but I'm really not sure. I have not been able to keep up with some parts of the series as much as I would like.
And I adjusted it

I've googled and looked through the 2003 manga, nope, I don't think they EVER gave a name for him. Well the name Tokugawa is part of Japanese history going back to the period of the Shogun. So I think I'll use the name Ieyasu, that of the first Shogun.

Ieyasu sounds good to me. That or maybe Daisuke, kinda plays on Daichi as well. Either way.
Unless some other member actually can find any information on this mystery. (I thought for sure I saw somewhere that he had a full name... :unsure

Eesh, it's been a while since I last saw those episodes (and as good as the subs are, they can still be kinda dodgy). I'm afraid I don't remember; I doubt he was given one, though. He's not the only one whom they deemed unnecessary to have one; Tenma's isn't actually given in the series proper, either (but then, he, along with many others, wasn't given a first name at all until that one story, wherein it is revealed that his life is one giant horse pun for some reason, in spite of him looking more like a rooster...).

[Tokugawa Ieyasu is name of Japans 1st Shogun, who was 1 of 3 warlords, other two being Oda Nobunaga, & Toyotomi Hideyoshi *liner notes for UY disc #13]

Sounds appropriate!
