I wondered where that image came from, I knew it wasn't Tezuka's. Thought it might have been done by an airbrush artist.

Not entirely impossible. Imagine that being the only version of Astro Boy that you ever knew, though...
But yeah, I'm pretty sure because it has that same janky-looking style to it. :T
