Help Identifying Collectibles

I am not really used to forums, in fact, I am pretty sure that this is my first.
I am looking/hoping/begging for some help.
After joining I very quickly realised that

So I have come across a small chrome coloured plastic AstroBoy (???) case
that seems to be quite rare to say the least...
I have been searching everywhere and anywhere I can think of but have had no luck finding anything like it.
I have no clue what it is actually use for, if it is of any real value other than a collectable and
