I use MacAfee for my vista, which seems to work well, but I heard that it can slow down your system.

I bleed all over computers that have Norton of McAfee. Both Norton and McAfee are notorious for making deals with other companies. Basically, they tell the companies to target computers with their programs, and the programs allow the adware onto the computer. Then, when you scan with their programs, they pick up the adware and delete it, making it look like they are actually working.

When I had McAfee on my first computer and tried to delete it, it tried to take half of my computer information with it. Had to MANUALLY extract all the files without using the uninstall feature to save everything. > :P

Kaspersky uses a lot of memory when it's deep scanning, but you would only really be scanning if you weren't doing anything else. Malwarebytes...not so much. :3 Pretty light on the hardware, so I can run Malwarebytes and Kaspersky scans at the same time. You know, for that fresh clean feeling.

@Kabuitsu- Kaspersky is totally worth it. It comes with a bunch of other things besides antivirus that are nifty, like the virtual keyboard and the ability to scan portable drives. Russians know their Antivirus! (Just wish their forum with the skins was in English...)

Sorry, should have added a TL;DR at the end of that one, lol.

Norton isn't that bad. It's cheaper than a lot of others and works for a lot of people.

Just not my mug of mead. (Crap, I've been playing too much Oblivion...) I'll stick with mah Kaspersky.
