I know this may seem very random, but I'm currently researching this. I'm writing something about this and I want to hear from people about it before I write something that makes me sound like a jackass.
Anyways, I've looked up some methods on Google and I have learned a few things. However, I have never in my life been to a hypnotist. Nor do I know anyone that has. So here's my question:
Has anyone here been hypnotized or know anyone that has? If so can you describe it in a post in detail explaining what it feels like, or however you can describe. Or can you say anything about methods people use, or anything useful about the subject.
Thanks, and I hope I get some good feedback.
Does anyone know anything about Hypnotism?

I've watched people get hypnotized before. (It's a tradition at my high school to hire a hypnotist for the graduation party) It's really weird to see - they just kinda slump forward when he's getting them ready and then act normal when their doing what he says.
One time he told them that their shoes were phones.
They were pulling shoes off of the hypnotist and talking to them. xD Then he told them they were nekkid. All the girls hid behind the stage, but one of the guys just sat there smiling. Learned all kinds of things about him that day... o_o
Afterwards, when he told them to snap out of it, they didn't remember anything until almost exactly 15 minutes later. D: It was hilarious - suddenly there was a chorus of "MY GOD I WAS NEKKID!" A no one was wearing a watch, so it was odd that they all did it at the same time. *wink*
Lots of people don't believe in hypnotism. Being a student of psychology *so-called, anyway* I do believe the mind may be manipulated into thinking that it wants to react as you say it does. (In that way, though, I don't think I can be hypnotized because I know it...)
