Wat did u do for New Years Eve?

Mine coulda been better. I had to spend New Years alone. My mom and her boyfriend Dave were working, and so I had to stay at Dad's house. Sis was sleeping over with my uncle aunt and cousin, and Daddy was upstairs yakkin' on the phone, so I watched the ball drop by myself. After the ball dropped, I gave Sis a call and texted my friends and then I watched the movies Beavis and ButtHead Do America and Napoleon Dynamite. LOL!

Well when I ball dropped me and a bunch of friends started banging pots and pans and ran around outside screaming "HAPPY NEW YEAR"

I spent the Eve shopping with some family for last minute gifts for my sibling's birthday. But since I went to sleep early, I didn't see the usual midnight fireworks. It was a pretty normal day.

Well, as with every year our neighborhood had a 'Survivor' party (Has anyone watched that show? I haven't but know everything about it due to neighbors :lol
I was pretty cross about it since I've been having a bit of a down month, and was sure I would last about two rounds before I got booted off the team.
At the start we were each issued tiny animal toys as our 'immunity idols' and I was given a cat and instructed to 'take good care of it.'
Well, being a portal nerd I started reffering to mine as 'The Weighted Companion Cat'.
A couple things I said once in a while for no reason were 'The Weighted Companion Cat will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak." "The Companion Cat cannot speak. If the Companion Cat does speak, I advice you to disregard it's advice."
AND THEN.
At the end of the game I was for sure going to lose so I played my immunity idol. SUCH AN EVENT DEMMANDED A SPEECH. so I gave one:
"I am playing my Companion Cat. I'm sure the host regrets to inform you all that, though the Weighted Companion Cat brought me good luck, he cannot accompany me throughout the rest of the game, and must be euthinised. *hands host immunity idol* I will escort him here for euthinisation. If the Weighted Companion Cat could speak, and I will take this opportunity to remind you that it cannot, it would tell me to go on without it, because it would rather die in a fire than become a burden to me."
YES. YES PORTAL.
It got a round of applause and was declaired several times to be the 'event of the night'.
However I forgot to stratagize because I was too busy planning my speech and then lost anyway.

It was fun.
