hi- please anyone who wants please tell about the time you have met real life- heroes- policemen(of course i definitely mean females too!), soldiers, national guardsmen and women. firemen, paramedics- anyone who was a hero to you- and of course moms and dads! Mine would be my mom- SHE HAS HELP ME MORE THEN ANYONE! THANKS for people like DANNAVY and anyone else here who was in the military- pray everyone the very best- salvation and safety and happiness always- hugs and kisses-

While attending an air show, I met a man who flew with UNCLE WIGGLY WINGS, the Santa Claus of the Berlin Airlift. He has with an airplane that was used in the airlift. For those unfamiliar with UWW, he was also called THE CANDY BOMBER, because while flying to & from West Berlin, he tied candy bars to handkerchief parachhues & dropped them to the children. UWW, himself was in declining health, or he would have been there. I regret not meeting him.

In college physics lab, I just happened to learn that my lab instructor, whose name I have in my syllabus, but cannot recall offhand, had worked on Apollo under Werner Von Braun. Once I learned that, I mercilessly assaulted him with questions about Apollo, & WVB.

My Uncle Dan, who I never met, but did get to talk to once. He never got over the Battle of the Bulge, and suffered his whole life from what today is known as Post Tramatic Stress Disorder. So many "regular people" who serve in the military lose their lives like this (in "slow motion"). It is tragic, but their honor and our love for them remains.
