rECENT ROBOTS IN MOVIES!

Recently I finally saw, Hugh Jackman's most recent movie, "Real Steel" and it is definitely a crowd pleaser. It will be of most interest to members of this blog because of a robot named, Atom.

Also of note to members of this blog is a little film titled, "Robot and Frank" starring Frank Langella. It is a cute little comic and satirical fantasy film which features a robot who resembles Honda's Asimo.

Both are recommended to fans of Astro Boy as I believe you will find them both interesting and entertaining.

Every time there is a robot in a movie... I flip!!! And everytimd I go to the movie theatre, I pray for a purview to be Astro boy 2( but we all know that's not gonna happen)

I was a bit disappointed in REAL STEEL, as I had expected it to be about the robot, but instead, it was about the renewing of the father-son relationship. Moreover, as far as robots go, these were little more than radio controlled ROCKEM SOCKEM ROBOTS, as their human controllers were constantly jamming their thumbs against the punch buttons. I had actually expected this to be similar to THE TWILIGHT ZONE'S STEEL.
