SNL's 40th celebration tonight @ 8 PM

Postby jeffbert » 10 years ago

I have not bothered with SNL for years, since its humor seems not so funny as it was back in its founding days, but, I will record & watch the skits on the anniversary show. Steve Martin will appear, so I do have hope for something recognizable, though I doubt Theodoric of York will appear.

I recall a skit with John Belushi visiting the graves of the others, strange that he was one of the 1st to go.

I watched the recording, but fast-forwarded through most of the musical bits, etc. Unfortunately, they paid little more than lip service to the oldest bits, showing only a collage of very brief clips. King Tut was likewise cut down to about 5 seconds. I guess I should check NETFLIX or Youtube, maybe HULU if I really want to see the old skits.
