[QUOTE=Astro Forever]Why, you don't think we are smart enough? :p QUOTE]

Certainly not! :) But if you ever just talk to Lynny, she doesn't appear to be someone who likes Tezuka. Oh, but does she ever... :p

Sorry, I didn't mean for it to sound like that...

Hey, that's not bad at all. I'll start looking for it. (I actually dreamed about watching it last night :shifty: ...weird, but typical.)

This is perhaps the truest thing ever said about me. I really don't enjoy anime/manga outside of Tezuka, and Mr. Skunk had to work HARD to get me to even understand 2001 Metropolis...once I did, though, it was all over. Tezuka has earned rank of genius and hero in my mind.

Sorry, I didn't mean for it to sound like that...

I think it is like that, though...
Doctor Kei Kisaragi and further bullitens as events warrant. :ninja:

And I pretty sure the 60's series didn't ether.

Blackjack and Astro also appear both in Undersea Super Train: Marine Express, a 1979 TV Special. The only thing is that, for some reason, Atom is re-christened "Adam".

More details (and even clips) at :

I haven't seen that, unfortunately. On the other hand, I've seen the "Time Machine" Astro episode, and I have to say I was a bit disappointed at the animation. This is definitely not the best episode in the 80s series, at least when plain animation is concerned. It's all the more apparent when you think it comes just after the legendary "Greatest Robot in the World" 2-parter, which is so awesome...

BTW, what was that name they gave Blackjack in the English version ?
