Hi.
Apart from Astro Boy;
Does anyone remember the timeless show "The Mysterious Cities of Gold" from 1982?
About 3 children (Esteban, Zia & Tao) who travel high in the Andes to look for a mystic city and their parents.
I just recieved every episode on DVD and it's astounding how great it's illustrated.

Yep, I remember the Cities of Gold.
Is that the R2 le Français DVD set you got? or has a proper PAL English set come out yet? cause I dont think I'd wanna pay hard cash for a crappy NTSC version of such a fine show, I've been meaning to get the R2 set for a while now even though I dont actually speak French, I'll probably end up getting this version anyway and add the English soundtrack to it later on.

The DVDs that I recieved were from a guy in the UK.
They are the English version and are the best quality.
I only paid $30 USD for the 8 DVDs.
Here's his email:
skutt@bus.msu.edu
You will need to pay through PayPal.

If anyone does a search on this you will find the episodes are indeed out of ownership. No one owns the copyright for this series anymore and therefore it is, in fact, free to download it.
Roughly 3-4 years ago it was EVERYWHERE (like Chickenman) for download, but I don't know about now.
seriously.. do a google about this if U want them, they are probably still out there. A quick search I did right now came up with ..
http://www.medvale.demon.co.uk/gold.htm
those with eMule, eDonkey2000, K++ or any other P2P proggy could get these a lot easier too, I would assume.
