My drawing - StarLight (Toyota robot)

Those are awesome drawings!

I'm a little out of the loop since I've been in school, and was pretty busy with work before that. I've never heard of that robot. Looks a little like one I saw a webpage on called Pino. The huamnoid robot I really want is the Sony Dream Robot (3X model - the 4x isn't as cool looking IMO). It's based on and uses parts from Aibo, sony's programmable dog. Unfortunately They don't plan on selling that particular model, and if they did it would cost as much a a new sports car. I figure it wouldn't take much to turn it into a servbot/kobun from one of my favorite game series' Megaman Legends+Tron Bonne.

On a somewhat related note, has anyone else had a great desire to operate one of the Caterpillar P-5000 exoskeleton power-loaders that Sigourney Weaver/Ripley used in aliens ever since seeing that movie?

Wasnt it Honda who invented the first humanoid robot the Asimo?

Yeah, they've made several revisions on it, but even the latest one looks and moves pretty crappy. The first one had a head shaped like a big screen TV. Interestingly enough, when Honda's president hired the first engeneer he shook the guy's hand and said something like this:
"Money is no object, make me an Astroboy"
There's a video with a short interview of that engeneer on my FTP, I think it's the space channel one.

Hey, Anapan! I've all those videos into your FTP site,'cause I collect them for 3 years ^_^ I LUV Qrio, I've an AIBO and I've also a simplified version of PINO (my AIBO is named Orion, my PINO is Erik). If you find something more about QRIO or the Toyota robot, can you tell me?
