For those wondering about this series, and the cases that Earl Dracula has appeared in Astroboy, I guess I could go into detail.

This is one of more Osamu Tezuka's lesser known works, as it was a short lived Manga, to my knowledge. It's a story about Earl Dracula and his daughter, Chocola going from Europe to Japan in order to escape Detective Hellsing (Also, a Vampire Hunter), who was currently in search of them. In which there Butler (the name for some oddball reason I can't remember) often served them and helped them stay out of trouble.

Unfortently, Earl has two problems: A Fat "Biji" Woman who seems to want to be Count's Wife, and Hellsing, comes to Japan. To make matters worse, Hellsing ends up in Chocola's class as a teacher, causing worse problems. Who edns up tracking down Chocola and finds out where they lkive. This only makes matters worse.

Also, two words to describe Hellsing: PERVERTED FREAK. I think someone of you saw the picture I had before I changed it. I won't repost the link sense it is, even if it's animation, it is pornography, and unfortently detailed.

As for Chocola, basically she's a kind caring girl, who is pretty much determined to do something, especially because The Count gets worried about Chocola going to school, sense he's worried Hellsing may be in Japan. (Which in the end, he does wind up in Japan). Chocola also has a crush on a student there at school.

As for the Count, he's also one of those vampire's that go after female blood more often or not. Though he is constently worried about his daughter, Chocola, incase she gets in danger from Hellsing, and other issues that may happen. His house, located in Japan,. also has a few mysteries of their own, including one of his paintings that come to life. His personality is hard to describe, because he does fluxerate a bit too often between how he feels and such. Though, I'd say he's a bit paranoid, mostly.

But anyways, I'll post some videos of this series later and such.

That looks very different from what I've seen of Tezuka's work so far.

Edited to correct a typo.

I was considering buying the set from CD Japan, since it was fairly inexpensive. However, I must ask (assuming you have seen the whole 8 episode series), does it end properly with closure? I know that only 8 episodes were made & only 4 were broadcast. I guess I could restate my question as:

is the story as presented in the 8 episodes complete? Perhaps, after having read the 'subtitles' page, I should ask if it leaves the viewer confused because it was never finished?

Jeffbert, unfortently, it doesn't end. I just skimmed through the ending episode, and, well, it just ends at Earl running off from the "Fat biji" and Chocola left with a huge bill done by the Fat "Biji".

EDIT: As for videos, I'm going to encode the Opening and Ending right now, and Upload it. Also, I may include a short episode clip.
