Horror movies
I am in the process of watching a bunch of horror films, or should I say 'horror' films on Turner Classics. I was greatly disappointed by THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE; my memory of it was much more satisfying than the actual film.
The living disembodied head just somehow was not nearly as funny as I thought.

"Astro, you must exceed the limitations that humans cannot!
You must be go beyond nationality, ethnicity,
pilosophy, and religion,
starvation and poverty,
and war!
Exceed these limitations created by man!
You must fly high! Higher than any human has ever flown before!
To reach for the future that no human has been able to so far!"

You a fan of horror movies, Jeffbert?
I'm sure cybotron will have a bunch of information for you.
I'm planning on going to the "8 films to die for" Horror festival. I went last year too, and I think I posted a thread about it somewhere...

"Make like siamese twins and split.... and then one of you die."

Eyes w/o a Face had just a bit of gore, but other than that, I found it more of a drama than a horror.
TCM will show Voodoo Island, King of the Zombies, Revenge of the Zombies, and a few other 'horror films this Friday. Those are among the ones I will record, & I expect that both Witchfinder General (AKA The Conqueror Worm) & the original Night of the Living Dead should both be in my mailbox by now.
But these Zombie movies mentioned above are the mindless slave type zombies, rather than the cannibalistic 'zombies' that apparently originated in Night of the Living Dead. :d evil:
We need a zombie smiley.

I agree.
That would be cool.

Aha... Now THIS is my Kind of Thread!
People that know me well know that i LOVE anything Horror Related. Why, my DVD Collection is practicly Made-Up of horror Films, Old and New. (not counting Anime and Comdady DVD's...) And, for those of you remembering the Comic That Zeo Posted, would realise that Horror has a LOT of Influence on what i work on...
My absolute Favorite horror films, however, tend to be Focused either on more Bizzare Cretures that are Completely made up by the writer, or case's where a Stereotyped Monster is Changed or Altered Slighty. 2 Cases in point are the Movies "IT", Adapted from Stephen King's Novel, and Dog Soldiers, witch makes werewolves seem slightly more Belivible... at least, to me.
