question about deleting threads

Postby Dragonrider1227 » 17 years ago

I gotta know. Why is it when you guys delete a thread, it still takes up the space saying "Thread deleted?" Why doesn't it just, you know... delete the thread? I didn't mind this before but now the main Astro Boy discussion section is littered with them and it makes the whole thing look kinda ugly

Ooops... I had forgotten about this (as a moderator, I sometimes forget what can be seen as a regular user, sorry). I guess we wanted to keep tracks of those threads, so we used the "soft delete" option instead of completely deleting them from the database.

If there's nothing more that Vergere wants to do with those threads, we'll go ahead and delete them.

We've started moving the threads so they do not pollute our forum anymore.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. :)
