Speaking of Ishtar, did you ever see The Mole People? I thought it was really funny as B-movies go.

I had never given thought to the meanings of those names, I wonder if there are more than a handful of religious people who know that the hero's name meant devoted to Mars/Aries? Or, for that matter that the days of the week and the months are likewise named, except July being named after J Caesar?

Most don't care....
Here is additional data.
"....Behold a noise of a tumult, with thunder, and earthquakes, and uproar in the land:
[6] And, behold, two great dragons came forth ready to fight, and their cry was great.
[7] And at their cry all nations were prepared to battle, that they might fight against the righteous people.
[8] And lo a day of darkness and obscurity, tribulation and anguish, affliction and great uproar, upon earth.
[9] And the whole righteous nation was troubled, fearing their own evils, and were ready to perish....."
from the Additions to the Book of Esther 2:5-9
This also is some of the Godzilla movies. :wahah:

Hey jeff.... The additions were banned by the King James and by the auto de fe. There were a great many scrolls that were banned by the murderer cults that conquered the Jews because the scrolls testified against them. These were condemned as Pseudepigrapha or false writing, or as noncanonical.
This is cyberspace and in the new "Cyber Canons" we can study whatever whenever..
You can search for many of the Scrolls here
As for sects and where they are.... No one in his right mind would ever take any of these people anywhere near anything or anyone that has to do with the true people.
So forget about it. Forget about finding "The Sect."Image

I thought the funniest episode was when the engineer was turned into a frog. Everyone he thought would want to help him instead wanted to make a meal of him!

I liked it, but would not spend money buying it, it was just not funny enough. If you live in the USA, join Netflix, rent DVDs via the net, including both anime & B-movies. I pay about $32 / month, and go through about 28 titles / month.

For about the first five or six times, the too-oft repeated scene in which Kaze loads his triple barreled soil gun was amusing. However, after that, it just seemed boring & a poor excuse for not putting in actual content. It reminded me of Batman during the 60s.

B & R leap (although sometimes enter by opening door, or was it R who leapt?) enter the Batmobile. They never fail to buckle their lap belts.
"Atomic batteries to turbines."
[Turbines begine to whine]
"Turbines to power."
[Turbines whine louder & faster]
"Power to speed."
[Scene switches to rear-end: Flames leap from the exhaust, scene switches to side view: Tires squeal & car enters tunnel. Scene switches to outside secret entrance, Dead end sign folds down, door opens car races out. Sign says "Gotham City 14 miles". Tires squael & turbines whine as car goes around curve.]

Ok, that is way cool, but I really would have preferred to see something else once in a while during that time. Oh, & how could I forget the scene in which D or B flips up Shakespeare's head, presses the button, the bookcase opens, they slide down the poles, & emerge as not D & B, but as B & R! What a complete waste of time, every single time. These repeated scenes took about 2 minutes from the available time. & then, there is the short-lived Green Hornet, made by the same Greenway Productions. It did the same thing with the BB! Kato flips the switch, the hooks secure the convertable to floor, which spins, putting the C upside down & the BB on top, where the hooks release. Then the GH & K enter the BB (& it wasn't even a large car, just a midsized one :D ), the wall opens, the car goes off stage, the scene changes to outside, the kissing lovers poster splits as the brick wall opens, & the BB goes out. & then, there is the scene in which the DA enters. The FP opens, the elevator descends, the DA steps out. Ok, once in a while, but every single show? & often several times / show! Gimme a break!
So, here is Kaze:
The bad guys are too tough to beat using conventional weapons.
[So, the Magun morphs into view.]
Kaze: "I have decided what type of soil to use against you."
[Gun spins around in midair.]
Gold for blah blah, blah.
[Gun folds open, cylinders are exposed, & cartridge floats into place.]
"Regular ol' dirt, for blah, blah, blah."
[The second cartridge floats into place.]
"Dog sh** for blah, blah, blah."
[The third cartridge floats into place. Then, the gun breach closes, & the action procedes.]
No fewer than once each episode, every time happening exactly the same as the time before it. Ok, I liked the series, but it was too dull for a second season, which was cancelled.
