What's your take on these versus the manga (which I dearly love)? We've got these at a video store down the street but I've heard very mediocre things about them (I hate seeing something that's just OK based on something that's GREAT.) One of my friends said everything with the films was fine except the actor playing Itto couldn't swing a sword to save his life. Well I haven't seen it, but since your posting images I must assume its pretty positive.
Bombs vs. bombs, missiles vs. missiles and now a new super weapon to throw upon us all!

I could never figure why Serizawa had quite so many fish in his lab. Is them a particularly good way to test Oxygen Destroyer? And then he even had one as a center piece on his living room table (it wasn't there in an earlier scene). Perhaps disintegrating fish is far more fun than anyone would have previously thought.

And the O2 destroyer failed to destroy Godzilla, and also resulted in the pollution of Tokyo, and the mutation called DESTROYAH a horrible monster that thank goodness Godzilla whacked.

I know I've seen the new one (which I thought was terrible, but I hate CGI when guys in suits will do the job better)...I don't think I've seen the old one though.
What ever happened to the idea of Tim Burton remaking Gorgo? I think here's a film Burton was cut out to do! At least we have Peter Jackson doing a remake of King Kong. These are glorious times indeed!
