The 2nd law has a problem: If interpreted exactly as stated, the poor robot would be required to obey
any human's command, regardless of that human's staus. Thus, if you have a robot, & order it to buy a pizza with bacon, pepperoni, sausage, and green peppers on it, you cannot expect that the robot will be able to fulfill its mission, unless there is no way that another human can contradict your command. Thus, it would need to be rendered deaf.
Asimov's Bicentennial Man obtianed official status as a human being, but was still subject to the 2nd law, & was ordered to disrobe & destroy himself, which he did start to do, but was saved when his friend came along & cancelled that order.
