Silly AF, that's called "fangirlism"!
They're not choosing a masculine name when they call themselves that, they're showing everyone that they're obsessive nutjobs.
I am NOT a boy! Dx
Astrogirl did not exist until Dr.Elefun built her. Do you notice how the "13yearold Girls" ignored my post?
Astrogirl is some kind of control device, but easily eluded since she can't fly!!!

PS- i know she is a robot girl but girls have to stick up for each other- how dare he do that to sweet Astrogirl.
She can't fly and her power level is much lower!
So Astro can quite easily elude her if he wishes.

I was never surprised that people thought I was male here since my nickname doesn't tell anything, and Astro is male after all (although I think "Astro Forever" is different than "Astro" because of the meaning behind it). Sorry Daichi but despite my own nickname I've usually seen females chose nicknames such as "Daichi fan" when they chose a masculine name as a nickname.![]()
This reminds me of what happened when I first joined Tezuka in English forums. At least one person thought I was female because I chose my favourite Tezuka character as a username. Princess Sapphire.

I certainly did try my best to clarify my gender right from the start. I was intelligent enough to realize what people would naturally assume.

Incidentally next to Sapphire, Astro is my favourite Tezuka character.
Nice to meet you Denkou and I hope you visit these boards again sometime soon.
