Would you please avoid posting pictures that are wider than 640 pixels? It creates an horizontal scroll bar on most people's screen and makes the forum harder to read.
That wasn't what I meant to write when I opened this thread however!
You said you didn't really understand why I didn't want you to post your name, and it occured to me later that we are now in an era where Facebook and Twitter seem to be the norm. The members there post so many things about their private life that if you don't understand why I'm scared of a member posting his real name on a forum like this one, well, after some thinking, I guess you have a very good reason for not understanding, after all!
Maybe your name is already displayed in many places on the Internet and you feel this may not make a difference. That could be the case. Let's just say that there's always a risk on the Internet, and since I feel I have a responsibility here, especially towards our younger members, well, I'll do what I feel is the safest thing to do here.
BTW, I've been a member of a totally innocent sports forum on which a very active member for years was later found guilty of collecting illegal stuff involving children, and it wasn't an accident that he had joined that forum... so we never know who reads what we write and what their intentions are. We were all in shock!
