I finally saw it, IT'S SO AWESOME! Now this is how zombie stuff should be done! x3
I LOVE YOU CYBOTRON
48 hours of sheer horror
I am as I write this, watching Lionel Atwill in The Mystery of the Wax Museum; this was the 1st of many films about mad sculptors who use humans as the basis for their life-like figures.
Vincent Price took the role in the 1950s House of Wax, & an unknown had it in A Bucket of Blood. This will be the 4th time I have seen it, so I am not giving it my full attention. Hooray for PiP!
When my brother comes up this weekend, we will watch AMC's The Walking Dead, & whatever Hammer films he has yet to see. I love my DVR!

Ok, my brother was off today because of rain & we saw SAW 3D. I FREELY ADMIT THAT I HAVE A WEIRD SENSE OF HUMOR, BUT I LAUGHED SO HARD i ALMOST HURT MYSELF.
i RECALL ONLY ONE THING THAT RECENTLY MADE ME LAUGH HARDER; IT was Family guy, & Peter was doing a ballerina type dance or some other weird thing while naked.
I thought I was having a stroke, as I saw lights floating around inside my eye. I know I have floaters, but they do not glow.
Then, we came home & found that though my DVR had apparently recorded the walking dead, it actually recorded 4 minutes only. COMCAST 'upgraded' the DVR software with TV GUIDE GUI (GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE) that really was an upgrade in name only. I have found that more than a few of my precious horror films were only partially recorded.
A 90 minute film might run for 75 minutes. The slider bar at the bottom starts out:
"0<-|------------------------------>90"
but at about the 1/2 way point, if I should see it (by pausing or FFwding it, it might be:
"0<-----------------|--->75"
I am really angry about this, as the previous GUI had better features, & was easier to use. So now I have just now finished FFWDing through the rest of them to ensure they were intact. Sadly, I had to put a few more out of their misery.
A few months ago, I had a tech over & he installed new cable from the wall to the DVR, including a 2 way splitter so I can have both my cable 'modem' & DVR connected. I had been using a splitter whose manufacturer he said was no good. He had determined that some of the cables I had been using were leaking RF. I had also been using RADIO SHACK right-angle adapters to keep the cables neat, but these were leaking also. He said that this can cause problems with the DVRs, though I know of no problems with the cable modem.
Then, they upgraded the GUIs, & that is when the above-mentioned trouble started. Before the tech replaced the cables, the DVR had occasionally rebooted abruptly.

I think I have that scheduled to record soon.
Oh, I almost forgot: I have found a true appreciation for William Castle's films. The last one I saw was HOMICIDAL, whose end revealed a girl who had been raised as a boy, in order to qualify for inheriting a fortune. While girls were not excluded by the will, there was an older girl from a previous marriage who was 1st in line. In a twist similar to that of PSYCHO, this girl, or young woman, played both the male she was presumed to be, & a homicidal woman, who always eluded the police. Sapphire would be horrified to learn of such behavior!
