It was the most expensive animated film ever, with a budget of 260 million.

I just saw Tangled on Friday for my little sis's birthday. BTW, she's 10 this year. :)
You're not a joke, you fit right in!
So shake it off, and give a grin. Don't be afraid to stand your ground! Crazy, noisy BIZARRE Town!

@Uran&Astro -- Tangled was the retelling of the Rapunzel fairytale, but from her future husband's perspective. He's a lovable scoundrel type. Rapunzel is a very high-spirited girl of just-18 who is drawn just quirky enough to make her charming (and her ever-present cast iron fry pan for protection is hysterical).

Her evil step-mother is a deliciously despicable aging glamor girl, and the rest of the characters are really a joy to watch. Maximus, the horse, is relentless in his dogged and comical pursuit of Flynn (the thief who by chance ends up in Rapunzel's tower). Yeah there are predictable parts (you KNOW she's gonna be rescued and get married and live happily ever after) -- but the journey to get there is full of laughs and music and fabulous animation.

There are scenes in it that use the 3D effect to breathtaking effect -- I swear, you could reach out and touch objects (I attempted, more than once, just to see what it looked like!).

If you don't like princesses and fairytales (but I dooooooooo!) this might annoy you, but my husband really enjoyed it (and he WILL NOT sit through "chick flicks") -- so I'd give it two thumbs up and definitely recommend it. You'll leave the theater smiling and wishing THESE GUYS had handled Astro Boy.

Some day . . . . mark my words!!!
