That's what I thought. It was really hard on the eyes. It looks okay on the image it comes from, but not for an avatar, especially on a site with a blue background.

Yellow-green is actually my least favorite color anyway.

I don't see an Uran avatar... and also, that background looks yellow to me. On the original image, I mean. Idk if it's okay to have that for an avatar; I mean, I saved that very same image onto my computer for reference (because I really love the way the artist, Range Murata I believe is the one that usually gets credited, tho idk exactly who they are, makes Atom look and I've been wanting to try my hand at the design)... Idk the legal status for something like this. I know it was done for something official, but does that make it official? In a way, it's still fanart... Hm. I hate trying to figure out legal junk; it is my primary obstacle when it comes to figuring out how to make a living off of my art with PayPal...

As for my first avatar, I cannot remember which it was, exactly. I know I cropped some generic official art for a time; then I made an avatar out of some fanart that initially appeared in that Japanese fanart thread (I didn't have the same reservations at the time as I do now)... I used an avatar that April used to have for a long time, the one where Cobalt smacks his own fanny... I think the one from LAB came directly after that. Now, it's an image that came from something I found in the old movie thread; there used to be more stuff in there, but I think all of it is missing or broken. I know more of the pre-movie art and such exists, as well as some hard to find official renders of the Astro from the final product, that I saw a few of in some pictures someone took of a special art book, and were probably on the now long since defunct movie website somewhere... I collect as much of this crap as I can, especially the stuff I find from the early development before things went to heck. I know more of it exists out there, somewhere; I'm not gonna stop until I have all of it- the cool-looking stuff, anyway. The more I find, the saltier I get about it...

Ah, I remember seeing Atom earlier... I think late last night/early this morning, when the background was still yellow. I'm not up at the right times of the day usually to have noticed that. Not because of timezones, but more because of late nights/an inability to sleep at night regardless of when I retire.

mine I actually made myself as simply a statement of the things I like best. Astro Boy (anime in general), Disney, and video games (Since it's King Mickey from Kingdom Hearts) I traced actual images of them and put them together.

My present avatar picture was old Facebook profile picture of my Italian friend (His name is Kappei Jin). I was liked picture and I downloaded. One or two weeks after, I became a member of AstroBoy Online. I entered the search to avatar picture. But I couldn't find a suitable picture. Then I made a decision: "I wonder if I use that picture?" After some thought, I used that picture as avatar picture...
