It doesn't really have a plot to it, but it's still funny and I think it's one of the funniest shows on Adult Swim because it's humor is crazy and yet very random. Then again, I've been told many times that I have a sick sense of humor. (Which is why I'm scared to post in the caption picture game threads.)

I have a strong dislike for almost all of the cartoons they show during the day on Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network has been going on a downward slope since 2006, which is a sad sight to see. I loved CN when I was very young, they use to have the best cartoons. But I'll save that for a different discussion.

As for cartoons that I don't like? Well there are two cartoons that I have a strong dislike for. I'm sure a lot of you will disagree with me:

I hate Scooby-Doo with every fiber of my being. I hated it when I was 5, and I still hate it now at the age of 16. The characters annoyed me, Scooby annoyed me, the humor annoyed me. Simple as that.

I also didn't like the fact that it was very repetitive, all the time they were chasing a guy in a suit. Yet they crap their pants every time in future episodes. Why do they never learn?! THEY NEVER LEARN THAT IT'S JUST SOME GUY IN A SUIT!!!

Also the franchise itself needs to die! (Excluding that godawful live-action movie.) How many animated Scooby-Doo DVD's/VHS' have they made? Way too many, another franchise that needs to be laid to rest.

The only other cartoon off the top of my head that I hate is Spongebob Square pants. I don't care, I said it. If you want a reason, I'll give you a simple reason. The show is ANNOYING!

Sorry isn't gonna cut it I'm afraid. She liked SpongeBob, Scooby-Doo, and not only that, but she also loved Regular Show, although I don't see why, considering she wasn't really into Cartoon Network stuff to begin with. And now she's gone insane, and probably will never be the same again. I hope you're happy!

 Well you do have to admit that they were milking the franchise with those animated Scooby Doo films.

I guess some people just can't handle the truth. :d evil:

But I don't wish harm upon anyone. Get better soon!

Everybody sit down, because last Wednesday, I discovered the worst cartoon I've found myself watching all the way through. This is Potlach. It's from France, and at this time of writing, bilingual DVDs of it can be found at Canadian Dollarama outlets.

Two friends and I were in a Dollarama after school, and found a couple copies in the discount DVD bin. We picked up volume one, and I read the badly-translated text on the back ("Out in the country, there is a farm. It was a farm without any farmers, but a farm full of animals!") and it got to a point where my friend Tyler urged me to watch it and review it on my website. He bought two Korean movies for me, and said I could keep them if I watched the whole thing. Given that these movies were "Thirst" and "No Blood No Tears", I went with it.

Potlach sometimes has great writing, but all the animals are these dead-eyed mutant abominations. Things happen randomly that can be totally disgusting, there's over-the-top sexual material, there's a song in each episode, and throughout the episode there'll be The Office-style brief interviews with the characters. It's a cluttered mess, and I only enjoyed one of the five episodes on the disc.

Episode one, I haven't finished yet. Episode two, a dog's house is crushed by a meteor, and sheep pee on it (in an attempt to put it out) but the house explodes. Somebody mentions that the dog likes potato pot pie, so everybody makes it for him until they rebuild his house. Then they go into the attic and find he's stashed them all up there, and the scene was nauseating. Episode three revolved around stealing a toy boat, and it was so predictably dumb that I was hoping someone would explode unexpectedly or something. Episode four, a sheep and a cow have an affair with an explicit act just barely obscured on screen. Episode five involved some characters getting lost in the woods, and it was pretty funny, but then it changed and revolved around this chicken looking for "adventure".

It's really one of the most mind-numbing things I've ever seen. I mean, it actually hurts to watch certain scenes. Probably the only character I don't want dead is Evquanni, a flamboyant, globe-trotting blue duck.

EDIT: I almost forgot...there's a llama named Pincho, whom is supposed to be Mexican, but has a bad fake accent and is lazy and dumb. So Potlach is also racist.

Wow, Fauna.

I saw the link you gave, and I'll take your word for it. That animation looks atrocious. It doesn't really look like anything particularly special either.

All I know is that it looks bad, what I've heard from you sounds bad, I think I'm going to stay far away from that as possible.

LOL! XD

I'm sorry. But I just had to do that. I'm alive, I'm healthy, and I'm okay (at least as of right now anyways). I just wanted to see if people would buy it. But I feel so mean! LOL! If this doesn't prove I'm a drama queen, or a good actress, I dunno what will. Please forgive me Ghost. I promise I won't do that again, unless it's April Fool's Day.

Well, I hope you don't take offense to this but obviously I knew that. It was pretty obvious, I was just playing along.

You don't have to feel mean or anything, it's all friendly.

I don't take offence to much, I just wanted to read people's reactions, but I was afraid I might be going to far, so I put an end to it so it wouldn't become a problem or anything. I don't really like much of the new Cartoon Network cartoons either, especially the Problem Solverz, (I mean, I seriously think the creator of the Problem Solverz was on acid when he thought up that show), but Regular Show is actually the best of them. I didn't expect to like it at first, but when I watched it a few weeks ago, I ended up loving it. Although sometimes I still can't belive it's a kid's cartoon! They actually said the P word in a few episodes.
