It is a sad fact that most small businesses fail within 2 years of starting. I understand that it takes a substantial investment just to start one. This is bcause it assumes being in the red for at least the first year, & having enough $$ to keep the doors open long enough to attract a large enough number of regular customers.

I'm sorry to read that, Big Astro Fan. It takes a lot of guts to start a new business, and unfortunately a little bit of luck too. Best of luck for the future! :)

I'd like to thank everybody here for your support. That is why I like coming to this site. We're not done yet through. We're thinking about renting the tables and chairs out for parties and picnics. We just need to get a few tents to rent with them. We have 42 tables and 84 chairs. So if anybody has any other ideas that we can use the tables and chairs with would be helpful. OK just got back from Vegas, and what I was saying is I get my best idea's through Music cause it opens up my mind and it really works after a while. Also relaxation works very well and maybe you are stressed right now and it could be hard to relax but if I were you I would try it could open you up to some brilliant idea who knows.

If I understand correctly, Big Astro Fan's store closed more because of the mall's owner greediness than lack of customers.
Anyway, I ran accross an article this morning on Slashdot that might be interesing. Just in case, I post it here: Can a Gaming Cafe be Successful?
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.
