Dude your forgetting the thing that makes it cost the MOST! The Blu Ray player someone has already found a use for 25-50 GBs of space. A Game called Resistance Fall of Man comming out at Launch already uses up 22 GBs of space which is bigger than any PC game to date.
EDIT: And you know what comes to mind. What your saying is very familiar to what others were saying about the PS2 when it first came out everyone was saying stuff like WE DONT NEED THAT MUCH POWER! And we found a way they were jealous cause Nintendo does not use power in their systems not one bit. And if a company can find a way to fill up one 25GB Blu Ray disc than we sure as heck can find a way to use 7 co op processors to a games advantage you will see dude!

Both your questions have good answers.
Well the Wii we have no idea Nintendo has not said a release date or a hint or a real price there just toying with people right now.
As for the other question YES more power means less lag and more realism in the game I think that is fun.

Oh. I checked Wikipedia and it would be around $250 USD being released sometime before Thanksgiving. I've checked gamestop.com and found that the Wii games will be shipped on 11/1/06.

And Wikipedia is no gamefaq. Possible launch times mentioned by the gaming press include directly after the Tokyo Game Show (which ends September 24), October 2, November 2, November 6, and November 12. Also, Nintendo has stated that the Wii will cost no more than JP¥25,000 (approx. US$222, c.2006) in Japan, and no more than US$250 in America.

Yes all of those could be true just as they could be un true dude gamespot is not always true no one knows.
They could just be saying it would cost no more than 250 to get everyone on their side. But believe what you want it still has not happened yet an official price and date at least Sony did theirs early and you know they aren’t lying about the price lol.

Because prices are not the same in various countries: cost of life differs (whatever it is called in English).
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

Usualy the cost is the same when it comes to consoles otherwise someone would import one and change the language back to English easily.
