I've got it on Youtube, although I can't really link to it here because Skunk swears and I filmed the TV with a camera so it's terrible-looking.

Now that you mention it, I think I saw that.

Skunk is one of many alien invaders who have taken human form, & even assumed others' identities. He had just grabbed Sapphire (playing a Lois Lane character) and her young coworker who is essentially a Jimmy Olson-type, and was about to terminate them. As I recall, the two had just uncovered the aliens' plot, and Skunk was ordered to silence them. :p

But Gam

arrived just in time, and made that big hole in Skunk's tummy. :p

BTW, Gam or 'Gum,' as the English-language pages call him, became EMILY in the '03 ASTROBOY. :D SORRY FOR GOING OFF TOPIC!

Jeffbert, you're dead on, but he was trying to kill Ambassador Magma's controller Mamoru, not the male reporter.

Yeah, Skunk appeared as one of a few antagonist aliens, along with a guy with a purple flattop who shot lasers, a really angry dog that chased Mamoru and his mom through a train, then an alien disguised as Mamoru's mother.

Here's a detailed description of what happens: Mamoru tries to call his parents after they get separated in an earthquake, but when he picks up the phone, Skunk is on the line, and then turns out to be standing beside him. He chases Mamoru into an alley and tries to force him to reveal where Magma and Earth are, but Sapphire appears and beats the crap out of Skunk. His arms turn into tentacles (!!) and he starts strangling them both, but Magma's son shows up, shoots Skunk in the ribs, and he turns into a skeleton.

I'll try to put a higher-quality version of the clip online, because it's basically insane. I showed a picture of Tentacle Skunk with the hole in his ribs to Jay Rath, and it scared the crap out of him. :(

:D :D :D  That guy would probably not be a fan of B-scifi or 'horror' films. I guess it takes all types.

BTW, sorry for goofing on the description. The image size is too small to tell -- no, I can see that that is Mamoru. I guess I simply assumed it was the Jimmy Olson-type because he and Sapphire worked together.

Off topic, for those unfamiliar with the series, there is also a J Jonah Jameson-type editor-- ###!! I am still becoming acquainted with my new wireless keyboard, its [delete] key is the wrong shape, & it has no indicators for CAPS LOCK other than a brief message on the screen--anyway, this series seemingly mixed character types from both SPIDERMAN & SUPERMAN! :D It has robots seemingly based on TERMINATOR, and I cannot recall what else. Too bad I have it on VHS, an old friend had the DVDs, and these images are from them.

Can't sleep, so I'm gonna do something unproductive:

RANDOM SKUNK SCREENCAPS :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

These ones are all from the Three Eyed One 1990 anime, episode 12:

Image

Nothing will ever beat the black trenchcoat with white scarf, but this suit comes pretty damn close.

Image

Skunk shows off his amazing squatting abilities

Image

Don't mind me, just being a creeper

Image

Pink tie for the win

Image

I don't think I've ever seen an animated character pull off this hand gesture before. Knowing Skunk might be the first makes me exceedingly happy.

Image

Now that's a face you can trust

Image

Bye guys, I'll be back to steal this stuff later

Image

I'm making the same face while looking at you Skunk

Image

The flashlight gang comes to wreak havoc once more

Image

I have NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS ANGLE

Image

Skunk gives in to his insatiable greed for fish eggs

Nothing witty to say, I just love this angle

K, that's it for now. Hopefully will have some from his second appearance tomorrow.

I never saw this episode! I'm going to look it up on Youtube in a moment...

Well, this makes the second role he's had where he gets a gratuitous butt shot, and I am really enjoying the Lupin III-esque outfit he's working.
