Before I forget, TCM will show Night of the Living Dead on the 15th @ 8 PM. While Last Man on Earth may have started the reanimated corpse genre, as I recall, this film 1st made them crave human flesh.

Invisible Invaders 1959, actually predates
Last man on Earth 1964...

Hmmmmmm...
Invaders is thought to be the start of the Genre by some,
though others will claim it's actually Plan 9 from outer Space 1958. that is the start of the Genre.
