TRON Legacy reviews are in

Well the plot is Tezukaesque...
Scientist creates AI (CLU/Shadow) says build world, and his builder tries to take over everything and do a Nomad bit..(see star trek the motion picture)
Remove imperfections. At least that's the common plot.

Not bad. Deeper than you think because of "Quorra/Cora"
I give it 4out of 5

It's possible. But more likely Quorra and Cora are meant to relate to CPU core number. The more cores the more CPU power. Cora lives by recycling computer and Robot refuse, a good Pentium i14 would be of utility.
Hey check this out!

Also compare the design of the costumes worn by Quorra and Cora...
See anything similar?
If you can find a picture of Cora's dress that isn't darkened. Then you can see her pattern.

Right! The problem with some is they have no experience with even the basic curriculum at hand. How can you understand Tezuka Do if you have no knowledge of where he draws inspiration? Astro is an Icon of the Electronic age! He is also an intelligent guided weapon. A "Surface to Air Missile", a S.A.M....
Without exposure to the curriculum Astro becomes to the uninitiated an "Entertainment..." Or the object of prepubescent fantasy. But here you can see that the subject matter can jump the gap and barrier of mere ignorant popularity and transcend any constraint of counter cultural opposition. And you can clearly see that none of the criteria that was spoken of earlier by some on this forum, could separate the "Tronic Gestalt" into opposing camps as far as Astro is concerned. But the interpretation of the thing asks,"What is Quorra/Cora in Hollywood and the real sense?" Stone's war? Clu's invasion plan? Quorra's arm is cut off and restored? Quorra is born of the Grid? Quorra is a surviver of CLU's Genocide? And as I said concerning Cora, she is a victim of Metro city elitism but the fact the surface people are eating out of the roach infested garbage is perhaps tooooo political here. The downthrow of the Metro City system. The fact that when Astro saves Metro City, an Alien tentacled monster shows up to finish the job of destroying the city. But the main thing is the rescue of SAM out of the Game Grid. Will the disco regenerate? Will there be a sequel? And the disenfranchisement of Pluto, will it proceed?
