You can turn it off, I assume. For me, proper names are easier with it:

'tn--' makes 'Tenma' that is about the shortest name, but there are some I made up for unknown actors. Those are descriptive, & have as many as 5 words in them, but a 2-4 letter code followed by '--' makes the whole thing. & no pressing SHIFT with the 1 finger and twisting the hand around to press the 1st letter! :p

I probably could turn it off, yes, but I'm often too lazy to do it... I type very fast so I just correct the mistake and keep going. In your case however, and considering you are writing a book, it's a very clever use of that feature.

So, we were at this 3-day school camp, some time ago, and 6 kids share a bedroom. So, it was almost eleven-o'clock at midnight, and yet we still couldn't get to sleep, yet this one kid had already fallen asleep and was even snoring a bit. So me and my two best friends told everyone about this prank which we were going to do, and they all joined in. We woke up the kid, and told him that it was already the end of the second day of the camp, and that he had slept through the entire day, missing out on all the activities we did. At first it was a pretty lame joke, he did not buy it, but then everyone joined in about there favorite activity, and this made him uneasy a bit.

There are these adults that patrol the corridors to make sure that kids actually fall asleep and not spend the night talking, and one of them came in and wasn't too happy with us. Then someone who I don't even remember asked if it was the second day (which it obviously was). The person said it was, of course. THAT set him off, and then he started to pack his bags and swear at us and the adult was absolutely baffled by the incident.

This is the only prank which I can remember for now... :whistling:

apparently I electrified a doorknob and called my sister, I don't actually remember doing it but my mom has told me the story so many times.

after she got into my room I was laughing so hard I couldn't even try to defend myself when she beat me up lol.

then there was the april fools day joke, I put a pillow on top of a door and it hit everybody on the head when they went threw the door lol.

or when I made an alarm for my bedroom door, turned it on and called my cousin, she jumped when it went off.

or the prank disk I made, I put it in my grandmothers computer on april fools and got her when she turned on her computer that morning lol.

Lol it is easier to do pranks when you know that they wont ground you for life. I got my dad one April fools by waking him up by sceaming that we were late. He jumped out of bed and started running around. Thats when I yelled April fools because I dont really like to put people under unnessisary stress.

Me and a college buddy filled up this really giant green water balloon and lured out a friend of ours who's really concious about how he dresses, and then the second he walked out, dropped it on him. His abercrombie and fitch t shirt no long looked hot on him. It was funny until he started crying. :/

So in my school there was I.T class at recess that kids could go to if they couldn't be bothered to play out in the fresh air, me being one of those.

This one time I'm with my friend Emma, we're waiting outside the door and nobody's there yet, but we know for a fact a whole bunch of loud annoying boys are gonna come marching up the stairs. Sooo, we devised an evil plan! :d evil:

We composed a note on paper which said 'I.T class closed today' and stuck it on the door (i wrote it first, but Emma redid it...my er, handwriting wasn't up to scratch then :lol :) . The boys came in, took one look...and fell for it! :w00t:

It was a good day :hyo:

I remembered another one, again, my youngest brother was the victim. We made a VERY special drink for him with all kinds of hot spices and such in it. After that, if mom had poured a glass of milk for him, he would dump it & pour his own. He was not very trusting of his elders.
