I hate to say it but it's only taken a few times watching the trailers to shake my head in abject misery and my fist in a rage....they have screwed this up big time.

This is why you don't allow a director who has no concept of the cartoon or a bunch of "out of the generation" jerks to attempt such a movie.

The special affects are abysmal.

They have the right actor but the wrong supporting actors.

The dialog is trash.

The script is laced with leftist politics, it's a leftist propaganda movie!

Forget it, this movie will bomb from the moment it opens. And they even dared to add different "Mach" models!

I would save my money people and buy the DVD as a "not to be shown to friends" embarrassment keepsake.

Thanks Dannavy85- i was hoping this would be a good movie. Thanks and hugs- i like the original, why can't they stay as close as they can to the original series? Thats the way i would do it, as close as possible to the original series. I hope they do a great job on Astroboy.

I'd like the trailers better if the film makers tried to emulate the high value/low saturation color scheme of SR, it would have given it a touch of innocence.
