Very true. Most police officers are suspended or get a VERY STRONG lecture if they discharge their firearm for any reason except for specific reasons (self defense, bringing down a threat). I would have also thought that John would have been given some sort of discipline in response to well...

No new episode tonight, so it seems that we will have to wait a couple more weeks to see the next episode.

I hope that Almost Human isn't one of them. Last week there was a tiny blurb that we would have to wait three weeks for this next episode but it was so brief I couldn't really capture what it said solidly. I first thought that maybe I misheard but it seems I heard right.

I really am enjoying this show and I hope that it isn't cancelled. So far it has been growing a pretty solid fanbase (if tumblr is anything to judge by).

ep #13 wil be next week. I checked the series' website, & #13 is the last episode listed. It could be the season finale.

Sad news! With the next episode looming just around the corner as the season finale Fox has NOT renewed the show for a second season yet (this doesn't mean that the show is cancelled yet)!

However fans are not going quietly about this but are sending emails to the executives of Fox at askfox@fox.com simply telling them how much they enjoy the show and that they would dearly love to see a second season (some are even sending decorated pens to Fox as in the last episode apparently pens in 2048 are rare!).

I sent off a little note to Fox myself, maybe with numbers we'll get an okay for a second season.

I just sent my message to FOX; I included a few sentences about why I like the show.

I did the same. I'm not sure if they are planning on canceling the show or not and so far no one can tell. The only thing we do know as of now is that they simply have not approved for a second season of Almost Human yet, which could mean they have no interest or that they simply have not signed it on yet.

Hopefully with the fan response we will get another season...

...Unless... Almost Human is intended to just be one season period? Could they really wrap up everything so shortly? I think not.
