Yes. I forgot to write it."Strange Wings" wrote:Yeah, I think it's justifiable since alongside with the Gaston comics, another series came up called 'Spirou & Fantasio'. Was it that you had in mind?

I hadn't payed a close attention to your scan. Of course, when I did, it was obvious.Neither am I, but I think it's evident that Franquin has somewhat of updated his style in drawing in the later volumes to follow. Maybe it was just a cause of getting used at drawing them?![]()

Yes, I think the artists get better at drawing their own characters with time. Tintin doesn't look as good in "Le lotus bleu" (after page 5) or "L'oreille cassée" - I know there were earliers albums, but they had been redrawn and rearranged, which is why the style isn't the same.
Same thing with "Boule et Bill", the style appear just a little rough at first - it's not bad, but it doesn't look quite as good. And if I recall correctly, I believe even the smurfs are slightly different in their first albums (but the difference is hardly noticeable).
Great then!Oh, I never dared to assume you did them just for me, however, still it's convenient to have them translated. The french language still uses to play tricks on me, so I definitely can benefit from it too.![]()

But you must speak both Swiss German and German well, no? You are very good in English, and while you may not be comfortable in French (yetWoah, please don't overestimate me! My first language still remains as the one I can handle somewhat of reasonable. When it comes to the 2 other languages,
well I'm just happy being able putting together a sentence the essence of is getting understood by the majority reading it.
